"PROMESA DE REYES"
Barrio Art Space and Proyecto Promesa de Reyes invite the Puerto Rican artists of the island and the Diaspora to participate in the Promesa de Reyes exhibition. The Promise of Kings is part of this tradition where they invoke the Three Saints Reyes Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar in a moment of need for the solution of some situation in exchange for the request the devotee makes a pact or commitment to pay for that promise. The purpose of this exhibition is to contribute by uniting in solidarity the Puerto Rican artists with the Diaspora where we make a promise for the uprising of our island Borinquen Post Hurricane Maria .
